Meet The Team
We currently employ 21 permanent and 4 casual staff memebers
Russell Bradley, General Manager/Co-Owner
Russell is originally from the Te Anau area and has spent the last 35 years working in earthmoving and road construction and maintenance. He worked on the Te Anau - Milford Sound Alpine Highway for 11 years and also worked in Australia for a few years in mining and general earthmoving.
Russell joined Linton Contracting in 2003, and he handles the outside operations, which means he is out in the field managing the crews. He likes that every day is different and the variety of jobs and locations. Plus, he says, he meets some really, really good people along the way.
Russell and his partner Michelle have been an item since 2001. In his free time, he enjoys, sea fishing, boating and hunting.
Peter Morgan - Contracts Manager/Co-Owner
Peter joined Linton Contracting in 2011, and is the partner responsible for managing the company’s contractual obligations. He also provides technical support for the company's push into non-traditional fields. Peter has been involved in construction since 1983, where he worked as a chainman on the Milford Road. His start in the aggregate industry began in 1996, when he was appointed as a manager at SouthRoads in the aggregates arm of the business. Peter was President of the Institute of Quarrying New Zealand 2017 - 2019 and remains on the Executive Board.
He enjoys the daily challenges of his job and meeting interesting people along the way.
When he's not at work, Peter likes to tinker in the garage at home, race grass karts and spend time at Manapouri with Margie, friends and family.
Margie Morgan - Office Administrator/Co-Owner
Margie is a born and bred local from Winton. She has been the Office Manager at Linton Contracting since 2011. Her varied background includes completing a New Zealand Diploma in Business (Accounting) qualification, administration roles in transport, timber, forestry, roofing and construction. She was also the local Secretary for the Civil Contractors New Zealand from 2010 until 2014.
Margie enjoys the diversity of her job from start to finish. She manages all the paperwork, data entry, job costing, reconcilations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, website design, marketing and advertising along with making sure everything runs smoothly.
Margie's philosophy is to ensure a great Work Life Balance. When she's not trying to keep the guys at work in line, you'll find her and husband Peter at Manapouri. Margie also enjoys doing a bit of home decorating, gardening, indulging in good food, good wine and spending time with her daughters, friends and family.
Laura Keatley - Construction Manager
Laura started with Linton Contracting in Jan 2023 and brings with her an extensive background within the Contracting Industry over the past 12+ years. Laura started her career in administrative based roles before her natural curiosity and interest in project management took over and she worked her way up the ladder to manage contracts/projects for companies such as Fulton Hogan and Downer. Laura enjoys the challenge that managing contracts brings, along with being able to utilise both her project management and administrative background and being able to get out of the office for site visits and interacting with all types of people. Recently, Laura graduated (with honours) a Bachelor in Applied Management (Project Management major) and hopes to continue her education (eventually) and when she’s not at work, Laura enjoys spending time at home or on road trips, with her family and 2 dogs.
Logan Kennedy - Contracts Manager
Logan joined Linton Contracting in May 2023. Having previously obtained an engineering trade, Logan began his Civil Engineering studies alongside a cadetship at Invercargill City Council before graduating with a New Zealand Diploma in Civil Engineering during his most recent role of Contract Engineer at Downer. Logan enjoys getting out on site and the technical challenges each project brings.
Outside of work Logan dedicates a portion of his time to the Riverton Volunteer Fire Brigade where he has been a member for the past 10 years and is currently the Deputy Chief Fire Officer. The remainder of his time is spent enjoying life with his partner and young daughter.
